About the laboratory accreditation unit<\/div><\/span>
[vc_column_text css=””]The laboratory accreditation unit was established according to the University Order No. 7644 on 27\/3\/2016 within the details of the organizational structure of the University Quality Assurance and performance division.assistant professor Dr. Jenan Adnan Abdul Latif teaching at the Department of Life Sciences was assigned the responsibility of the unit under the Administrative Order No. 285 on 11\/1\/2018. Then, assistant professor Dr. Juman Ahmed Nasser teaching at the Department of chemistry was assigned the responsibility of the unit under the Administrative Order No. 5488 on 18\/9\/2019 .R. This laboratory is considered one of the scientific laboratories, aimed at conducting advanced practical experiments to enable the student to understand the basics of electronics. In practice, understanding basic electronic components such as connecting electronic circuits and identifying their contents such as resistance ,capacitance , diode , transistor, signal amplifier, as well as using measuring and inspection devices and in practice to study and analyze some applications of electronic circuits. This is in addition to training students on the signalman device in detail and connecting some complex electronic circuits.<\/p>\n

Laboratory of optics for primary studies:<\/p>\n

This laboratory aims to enable Second-Stage students in the physics department to understand geometric optics and physical optics .Within engineering optics, images are absorbed and learned through the use of various optical tools such as mirrors and lenses as the core to understand the design and construction of optical devices such as a microscope, telescope, and others.<\/p>\n

Electrical Laboratory \/ 1 for preliminary studies:<\/p>\n

It receives first-stage students in the physics department .Students conduct a series of special scientific experiments.An electrical course that is concerned with providing a basic understanding of current, voltage and resistance, and learning the laws of electrical circuits and their applications.The goal is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to analyze and design electrical circuits and understand their applications in everyday and industrial life.<\/p>\n

Mechanics Laboratory for preliminary studies:<\/p>\n

To provide the student with the basic practical concepts of mechanics and aims to teach physics in the field of mechanics, which consists in studying the natural phenomena of static and moving bodies and fluids and studying the resistance of materials, calculating weights, pulleys, Newton’s laws of motion, and the speed of sound in the air.<\/p>\n

He receives students of the second stage in the physics department. Thin Film Laboratory \/1 for postgraduate studies:<\/p>\n

The aim is to conduct research for graduate students ( Masters and Ph. D.) to complete the study requirements and obtain the required certificate in the specialty of solid state physics.This laboratory specializes in studying methods of thin film deposition by thermal evaporation system and pulsed laser.<\/p>\n

Thin Film Laboratory \/ 2 graduate studies:<\/p>\n

After this laboratory, graduate students have an opportunity to develop their skills in preparing important alloys, preparing thin films and obtaining visual examinations in order to complete the study requirements and obtain the required certificate in solid state physics.<\/p>\n

Superconducting laboratory for postgraduate studies:<\/p>\n

This laboratory aims to enable graduate students (Masters and PhD) to conduct their own research on the phenomenon of superconductivity and superconducting materials through the preparation of these materials and various examination methods.<\/p>\n

Laboratory of Materials Physics for postgraduate studies:<\/p>\n

Laboratory of Advanced Nuclear Physics for postgraduate studies:<\/p>\n

It is one of the most important laboratories in the physics department, where graduate students conduct scientific research on advanced nuclear and environmental physics.
