Prof. Dr. Waleed Khalid Mahdi and evaluated by a committee comprising Prof. Dr. Ahmed Thabit Noman, Chair; Prof. Dr. Liqa Khalid Abdulkarim, Member; Prof. Dr. Enas Jasim Waheed, Member; Assist. Prof. Dr. Safaa Hussein Ali, Member; Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Mudhar Abdulkarim, Member; and Assist. Prof. Dr. Waleed Khalid Mahdi, Member and Supervisor.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The thesis addressed a contemporary topic in the fields of nanochemistry and green chemistry, focusing on modern approaches for preparing nanoparticles using readily available, inexpensive, and safe plant extracts. The study contributes to the development of simpler, more economical, and potentially safer preparation methods compared with some conventional approaches.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The research aimed to employ accessible, low-cost, and safe plant extracts as natural agents in the preparation of nanoparticles with distinctive properties, while exploring their potential for a range of modern applications. This approach reflects the growing scientific interest in the green synthesis of nanoparticles, which seeks to reduce reliance on harsh and costly chemical substances and promote the use of naturally available resources.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The significance of the study lies in integrating nanotechnology, green chemistry, and natural plant resources, thereby opening new research opportunities for the development of nanomaterials with potential applications across several fields. It also highlights the possibility of utilizing readily available resources in nanoparticle preparation processes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The thesis further emphasizes the importance of developing innovative approaches for producing nanomaterials with suitable dimensions and properties for modern applications, supporting ongoing scientific efforts to develop advanced materials with broad technological potential.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The research is aligned with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>SDG 3 \u2013 Good Health and Well-being: through the development of nanomaterials with potential applications that may provide a foundation for future research in health and biological fields.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>SDG 9 \u2013 Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure: through the application of nanotechnology and the development of innovative approaches for producing nanomaterials with diverse potential applications, thereby supporting scientific research and innovation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>SDG 12 \u2013 Responsible Consumption and Production: through the use of readily available, inexpensive, and safer plant extracts, in line with the principles of green chemistry and efforts to reduce reliance on conventional chemical substances that may involve higher costs or environmental impacts.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>SDG 13 \u2013 Climate Action: indirectly, through the adoption of preparation approaches consistent with the principles of green chemistry and the potential reduction in the use of certain chemical materials and processes associated with adverse environmental impacts.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The research represents a valuable contribution to the field of green synthesis of nanomaterials and reflects the role of postgraduate research in utilizing natural resources and advanced technologies to develop promising
