Department of Biology in cooperation with the Women Empowerment unit at our college organize a seminar entitled (cervical cancer) in cooperation with ( Bayad Organization) for women and children lectured by Dr.Dhi Nasif Jasim (gynecology ),Dr. Dr.Hanan Yassin (general immunology )and Dr.Rand Qais al obaidi (oncology and Endocrinology).
Dr. Hanan Yassin Mohsen showed to the role of immunity and nutritional health in resisting this disease while Dr. Dhi Nassif explained the indicators and symptoms of the most advanced cervical cancer, with reference to the actual observations of the cases that have been treated
Dr. Rand Qais al-Obeidi (oncologist) referred to the statistics related to the infection in Iraq , explaining the four stages that characterize this disease and the specificity of each stage, how to diagnose and treat them .
She pointed to prevention, treatment and the role of national health institutions in guiding and providing therapeutic service .The seminar was moderated by Taqi Abdul Rahim, head of Bayad organization, a fourth-year student in the Department of Biology at our college.
