Under the patronage and in the presence of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Firas Abdul Hamid Abdul Latif, and with the support of the Administrative Assistant, the Faculty has commenced operation of a solar-powered electricity supply system, with the aim of providing the CCTV system with a continuous, 24-hour uninterrupted power supply, as a first phase within plans to develop infrastructure and promote reliance on clean energy sources.

This system was completed under the direct supervision and continuous monitoring of the Faculty Deanship, as well as through the efforts of the committees tasked with technical inspection and administrative follow-up, which included the Construction and Projects Unit, the Monitoring and Security Permits Division, the Services and Maintenance Division, and the Camera Maintenance Committee.

Work on the project continued over an extended period, including during and outside official working hours and even on public holidays, with the aim of providing a clean and sustainable energy source that would help ensure the continuity of the camera system’s operation and reduce fuel and maintenance costs associated with the generators.

Upon completion of the work, the College Dean’s Office commended the dedicated efforts and fruitful cooperation among all staff who contributed to the completion of this vital project, wishing continued progress and success in serving our beloved College.
