The College of Education for Pure Sciences (Ibn Al-Haitham) at University of Baghdad organized a specialized training course on the Discipline of State Employees Law, under the directives of the Continuing Education Center at the University, in cooperation between the Continuing Education Unit at the College and the Legal Division, with the participation of both administrative staff and academic members.

The three-day in-person course was held under the title (Discipline of State Employees and Public Sector Law No. 14 of 1991 (amended) and its Role in Reducing Administrative Corruption), and witnessed broad participation from the college’s personnel.

The course was delivered by Professor Dr. Alaa Hakim and Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Wissam. It covered several key topics, including a detailed explanation of the law’s provisions, clarification of employee rights and duties, and an overview of the mechanisms for applying the law within administrative and academic work environments.

The course emphasized the importance of adhering to institutional laws and regulations in strengthening the organizational work environment and contributing to reducing administrative and financial corruption, which positively reflects on overall performance within the academic institution.
