
The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Education for Pure Sciences – Ibn Al-Haytham organized an awareness-raising event on Wednesday morning targeting the college’s students. The initiative featured the distribution of educational posters under the slogan “Water and Electricity are the Essence of Life – Let Us Preserve Them”, as part of the college’s ongoing efforts to strengthen environmental awareness and promote the culture of responsible resource consumption.
The event delivered practical guidance and awareness messages highlighting the importance of conserving water and electrical energy and maintaining a balanced pattern of consumption. The campaign emphasized the positive economic, social, and environmental impacts of rationalizing electricity use and reducing waste, benefiting both individuals and society as a whole.
The Women’s Affairs Unit noted that the initiative forms part of its educational programs aimed at fostering students’ sense of social responsibility and encouraging them to adopt environmentally responsible practices and transfer them to their families and communities. Such efforts contribute to safeguarding natural resources and ensuring their sustainability for future generations.
