The Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences (Ibn Al-Haitham), Professor Dr. Firas Abdul Hameed Abdul Latif, received a delegation from the Iraqi Programmers Syndicate headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Ali Al-Khuzai, a member of the Syndicate’s Central Council, to discuss avenues for strengthening institutional cooperation and expanding scientific and technological partnerships between the two sides.

During the meeting, both parties explored mechanisms for developing joint academic and training initiatives, with a focus on supporting specialized scientific programs that enhance students’ programming and technical competencies. These efforts aim to keep pace with rapid developments in the information technology sector and improve graduates’ readiness for the labor market.

The discussions also highlighted the importance of organizing joint scientific seminars, specialized workshops, and training programs that facilitate knowledge exchange, foster innovation, and create a dynamic educational environment that encourages creativity and professional growth.
