The Strategic Planning Committee at Ibn Al-Haitham College of Pure Sciences held a meeting chaired by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Firas Abdul-Hameed Abdul-Latif, with the participation of the committee members. The meeting was convened as part of preparations to launch the College’s Comprehensive Strategy, in line with its commitment to advancing academic and administrative performance and enhancing the quality of its educational and research outcomes.

The meeting addressed a number of strategic planning priorities aimed at establishing an integrated vision for the College’s future development, identifying strategic objectives and priorities, and strengthening mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating institutional performance to ensure the effective and sustainable achievement of the desired goals.

The Dean emphasized the importance of strategic planning as a fundamental tool for institutional development and for advancing the educational process. He also highlighted the need to provide an advanced learning environment that promotes creativity and innovation, while strengthening scientific research and supporting academic initiatives that contribute to community development and sustainable development.

The launch of the Comprehensive Strategy reflects Ibn Al-Haitham College of Pure Sciences’ commitment to keeping pace with scientific and academic developments and enhancing its capacity to respond effectively to the requirements of modern education and scientific research. These efforts are intended to support the development of a more efficient, innovative, and sustainable educational institution.
