Our college received, a specialized ministerial committee tasked with evaluating the scientific and academic performance of Colleges of Education for Pure Sciences for the 2025–2026 academic year. The committee was headed by Professor Dr. Buthaina Najad Shihab. The visit was conducted as part of the Ministry’s efforts to assess scientific, academic, and institutional performance and to review the College’s compliance with the approved evaluation criteria and standards.
During the field visit, the committee reviewed the College’s scientific and academic environment, the progress of its educational and research activities, and the academic and administrative procedures adopted by the College. The committee also examined the official documents, evidence, and data related to the various components of the evaluation form, reflecting the level of institutional organization and documentation maintained by the College.
The committee also reviewed the developments achieved in the College’s infrastructure, particularly the establishment of new classrooms and scientific laboratories and their provision with the necessary equipment and facilities. These developments contribute to creating an appropriate educational and research environment, supporting the quality of the educational process, and strengthening the capabilities of students and researchers.
The committee commended the distinguished efforts made by the College’s Deanship, academic staff, and administrative personnel in developing the academic and research environment and enhancing institutional performance. It also praised the high level of organization, the accuracy of documentation, and the effective preparation of data and supporting evidence. Furthermore, the committee recognized the College’s high-quality scientific output, reflected in the publication of research papers in prestigious international scientific journals and the achievement of advanced research indicators, including increased H-index values among a number of the College’s academic staff.
The visit highlighted the importance of integrating educational, research, and administrative dimensions in building an effective academic institution capable of responding to the requirements of quality assurance and continuous development. The procedures and practices observed during the visit demonstrated the College’s commitment to consolidating academic quality standards, improving the educational and research environment, and enhancing institutional performance in accordance with approved frameworks and standards.
This achievement is the outcome of continuous efforts, cooperation, and institutional integration among the College’s Deanship, scientific and administrative departments, academic staff, and employees. It also reflects the College’s ongoing commitment to developing its scientific, academic, and institutional performance and strengthening its role in education, scientific research, and community service.
