The College of Education for Pure Sciences (Ibn Al-Haytham) organized the (Chemistry Olympiad) competition in cooperation with the American Chemists Society / Iraq class for high school students
The competition ceremonies began with introductory speeches by the Dean of our College, Prof. Dr. Firas AbdulHamid Abdullatif ,followed by a speech for the president of the American Chemists Society/ Iraq chapter, the Faculty member in chemistry department , Prof. Dr. Taghreed Hashim Al-Nour.
This competition aims to strengthen the frameworks of scientific and educational cooperation between our college and educational and scientific institutions on the one hand, to develop the scientific capabilities of secondary school students by supervising competitions, debates and scientific activities that emphasize strengthening the role and position of the college in society scientifically and educationally.
