According to directives of the presidency of the Baghdad Council, the Deanship of the College of Education for Pure Science (Ibn Al-Haitham) has set up a course to develop the skills of postgraduate students in the college in cooperation with the Continuing Education unit in the college The aim of these courses is to develop the skills of writing scientific research and publishing in international repositories approved in international classifications.
The course includes the following topics:
. Introduction to the course and the importance of publishing research.
. The process of effective research in Internet, access to free scientific resources, research, and participation in MOOC free online courses
. Research methodology Principles of qualitative and quantitative research.
. Write an attractive title and summary of your research with practical application
. Structure and content of the research paper.
. Plagiarism and paraphrasing (summarizing and rewriting when citing other sources).
. The structure and content of theses and dissertations, with the most important points and observations regarding writing theses and dissertations.
